A new blog!! I suppose it's because I have so many wonderful ideas that I can't put all of them in videos on Youtube. I don't have a vlog channel.. it's more of a singer/songwriter/digital art channel. I would also like to share my other works I do off camera. It always takes me a while to post videos so, I don't always post on a regular basis because I'm a wife and mother first. I have three wonderful kids. I suppose my other ideas.. makeup tutorials, pictures of artwork, the process I go through to get my videos completed.. any other questions that pop up in between any Q&A videos I do.. I can put here. So WELCOME to this brand new blog!! I hope we can get to know each other more! I am also on facebook, just ad me as a friend. No, I don't have a "fan page". LOL I'll be posting videos I find interesting from youtube on here as well. I have seen it all on youtube and to be honest.. I'm not a romance novel type chick. Nope.. I enjoy watching conspiracy theorists. Haha! Who would have thunk it right? So.. once again, welcome and thank you for visiting this odd.. fantasy.. real life blog XD

ReplyDeleteI tried to contact you several months ago, asking you if you had ever heard of the band Nightwish or in particular Tarja Turunen? I believe your voice lends itself to the vocal dexterity of Tarja's. It would be a gift to the world if you sang some of their/her songs. Walking in the Air, Sleeping Sun, Wish I Had An Angel, Nemo are just a few that I believe your voice lends itself perfectly to. I would enjoy being able to talk with you on a somewhat regular basis, when my work provides idle time for things other than working and sleeping.

ReplyDeleteI will be doing a Q&A with your question, but yes I have heard Tarja/Nightwish and it's tough LOL for me to pick one... Maybe I'll do all of them! =D Which one is your fave 77surfer? I know I Wish I Had An Angel has a male part for the chorus so I won't be able to do that one. I love all your suggestions though. She has an amazing voice and what a HUGE compliment it is to request one of their songs. You are awesome! Have a fantastic week!
Hello, I'm still trying to get the sleep that I've been deprived of for so long. My suggestions would have to be Walking in the Air or Sleeping Sun, they are so beautiful, and I know you would just nail them both. The operatic gymnastics are nothing for you to fear, only not trying to do these songs would be a shame. I believe in your abilities, your voice is a gift given to you by GOD in order to bring joy into this world. Merenwynn you have no limits on what you can accomplish, I implore you in everything you do, to give it your all. I happy to hear of your other talents that are growing like the branches of new born trees. I might have something for you but I need to get out from behind my camera, which doesn't happen to often, but I do have a few pictures of myself.
ReplyDeleteI must concur with the77surfer on many things. Including the coincidental sleep deprivation. However only with an additional emphasis to perform first the "Tarja Turunen - I Walk Alone" song. If you find yourself narrowing your choices, please consider that one.
